Honey production in tropical countries

I'm a volunteer from Italy working in Guinea Bissau and Sierra Leone.
Connected to italian producers I would like to introduce such production in those countries in order to increase the feeding of children.
We are looking cooperation or news about the right way to start this colture in those countries. Any information will be well accepted
