Eucalyptus oil instead of leaves underneath a hive?

My wife and I are new at bee keeping.
I was told that Eucalyptus leaves under the hive can help get rid of some of
the mites that the bees can get.
I was thinking of putting some of the shredded pine (like for a hamster
cage) and putting a few drops of Eucalyptus oil on it instead of the leaves
underneath a hive?
If this is acceptable, how much of the oil should I use?

Si la ruche est occupée les abeilles se débarassent de la fausse teigne.
Cette bestiole n'aime pas la lumière ni les courants d'air donc suspendre les cadres vides en attente d'emploi.
Il existe toutefois un insecticide biologique qu'on trouve chez les fournisseurs apicoles ce produit du commerce sera le cas échéant plus efficace que du pin déchiqueté ou de l'huile d'eucaliptus.
En revanche le varroa est plus à craindre et là aussi utilisez les produits reconnus généralement sous forme de languettes (Apivar ou autres)...
