I am researching a book on the idea of the beehive through the ages and am trying to find out more about the practice of bee beards. Has anyone using this site ever created a bee beard? Was it difficult to do? What did it feel like? Are bee beards something which beekeepers in general approve of, or disapprove? Is there any risk of being badly stung?
